School Uniforms · UAE & GCC
A shared identity. Room to grow.
From classroom essentials to PE kits, a school uniform range should feel coherent and work through the school day. Arto develops uniforms around your school’s identity, age groups and practical requirements.

The school wardrobe
One school. Many ways to wear it.
A daily shirt or polo, trousers or skirts where appropriate, and a separate PE kit each serve a different purpose. Start with the school’s dress requirements, then coordinate colours, fit and branding across the range. Staff uniforms can share that identity with garments suited to teaching, reception and support roles.
Arto is Dubai-based, supplying schools and education organisations across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and the wider GCC.
From classroom to playing field
Designed around the school day.
Daily schoolwear
Review comfort when sitting, reaching and moving between lessons. Consider garment lengths, closures and pocket placement for the intended age group, alongside a tidy, consistent appearance.
PE & sportswear
Develop tops, shorts and sports layers around the activities they will be used for. Check movement and coverage in samples, and agree how school branding and house colours appear across the kit.
Staff & school teams
Coordinate polos, shirts or other suitable separates for teaching, front-desk and support staff. Shared colours and considered logo placement can connect staff clothing to the wider school identity.

School-specific capability
Approve the details before the first bell.
A clear school uniform specification brings the garment, fabric, colour, branding and size range together. We work through these choices in development so your school can review the range before committing to bulk production.
Samples should be assessed against the intended wear and care routine. For a school range, that means checking fit across representative age groups, everyday movement and the appearance of logos on different garment sizes.
Fabric for repeat wear
Discuss frequent washing, the desired finish and likely wear points before selecting materials. Compare fabric weight, construction and care requirements together; a higher GSM alone does not establish durability or comfort.
School & house identity
Agree the main palette and any house, year-group or team variations. Review embroidery or printing, logo position and scale on the sample rather than relying on artwork alone.
Sizing across age groups
Use an agreed size chart and sample review to plan the range. Age labels alone may not reflect each pupil’s fit; garment measurements and a clear quantity breakdown make the order more precise.
A clear procurement process
From school brief to approved range.
Define the range
List daily uniforms, PE kit and staff clothing, with age groups, colours and required quantities.
Review samples
Check fabric, fit, movement, branding and care requirements before approving the specification.
Confirm sizes
Set out quantities by garment, size and colour, including any house or department variations.
Plan repeat orders
Retain the approved details as a reference for new admissions, replacements and future orders.
Consistency from term to term
A reference that lasts beyond one order.
We retain approved garment specifications to help later orders follow the same fabric, fit, colour and branding reference. New intake quantities and replacement garments can then be discussed against an established range.
Confirm the size breakdown, material availability and any required changes before each repeat order. This keeps procurement decisions clear as pupils grow and the school’s needs evolve.
More about Arto ↗School procurement · Questions
Good to know.
Can you develop daily uniforms and PE kits together?
Yes. Daily schoolwear and sports clothing can be developed as a coordinated range, with garment and fabric choices considered separately for their intended activities.
How should we prepare quantities across different age groups?
Start with a list of garments, then break quantities down by agreed size and colour. Review a size chart and representative samples rather than relying only on pupil ages. Include separate house or year-group variations where needed.
Can we review samples and school-logo embroidery first?
Yes. Samples allow the school to review fit, fabric, logo position and the proposed embroidery or print before bulk production. Check the branding on the garment sizes it will actually be used on.
What should we consider for uniforms washed frequently?
Share the expected washing and drying routine at the brief stage. Fabric construction, garment finishing and care requirements should be reviewed together, with sample laundering considered before final approval. No specific performance is implied without an agreed specification.
Can house colours and repeat orders follow one specification?
Yes. House colours and other variations can be documented within the approved range. Retained specifications help guide repeat orders; availability, size quantities and any changes should be reconfirmed for each order.
What minimum order applies, and can you supply schools across the GCC?
Arto’s minimum orders start from 20 pieces, depending on the garment and specification. Different styles or colour variations may have separate requirements. We supply from Dubai across the GCC; share your destination, quantities and required date so the order and delivery arrangements can be confirmed.
